What to Wear...
The most common question I hear as a senior photographer is "What should I wear to my session?" The answer is simple, "Whatever you want." Okay, so not that simple! I usually tell people to think of at least three outfit choices! If you follow these three tips, you'll be well on your way to choosing your outfits to make your Senior Pictures awesome!
A Casual Outfit
A casual outfit is usually where we start. This is the outfit that you'd wear to school on any given day when you want to look good, but not dressed up. The one that you are most comfortable in, and that you feel most like "you" when you wear it. Whether it is ripped jeans, your favorite tee, and white tennis shoes or a denim pencil skirt, a cropped top and jacket with flip flops, it doesn't matter. This is the one that is you on a casual day!
A Dressy Outfit
A dressy outfit. This is going to be your dressed up, going to a wedding or a formal event type outfit. Think Prom. Think wedding. Think formal. A-line dresses, and maxi skirts are best for girls. A suit jacket and dress pant for guys. This is your opportunity to shine in the classy/dressy outfit! (Hint: Let mom help with this one! Trust me...she knows!)
The "it girl/guy" outfit
This "It girl/guy" outfit! This is probably one of my favorite outfits to recommend! You know the one. Its the outfit you'd wear if you wanted to show up to a party and be the center of attention. Its the one you wear that makes you feel so pretty, beautiful, and/or handsome! It is the outfit the you "Rock it" in!
